About claim.ad
An independent app developer runs claim.ad to give away upgrades to their own apps, the first being HabitGrip, a habit and task tracker for iPhone and Android.
How a claim works
Each campaign has a fixed number of upgrades and a closing date. Every claim passes a bot check, and each person, account and network gets one. Upgrades are released in batches, so nobody can empty a campaign in the first minutes.
Depending on the app, the upgrade goes straight onto your account in the app, after you confirm a link sent to that account's email, or you get a one-time code to redeem in the App Store or Google Play.
What we ask for
- An email address, used only to send your claim link or to stop a second claim.
- Nothing else. No payment, no review, no rating, no post or share.
What we never do
- Ask for a rating or review in return. Both app stores forbid rewarding them, and we would not want them bought.
- Sell or share your email, show ads, or follow you around the web.
- Post codes in public, where bots would take them before people do.
Reddit sign-in
Some campaigns may offer Sign in with Reddit as the one-per-person check. It reads only your username, account age and karma, never posts, and keeps nothing after the campaign ends.
